This is a per person entry fee of £5 for the Finals of the Hampshire Scout County Sporter Air Rifle Competition 2025.
The competition will be run at 6yds using the NSRA 6yd Rifle Targets and run to sporter rules in the standing position.
Classes have been determined by age as at 31/12/2025
1. Junior: 10-13 years
2. Intermediate: 14-17 years
3. Adult: 18+ years
All entries must be scouting members.
The final will consist of a 40 shot match shoulder to shoulder complying with sporter rules.
Junior - 10am Start time
Intermediate - Midday start time
Adult - 2pm start time.
Please ensure you arrive in advance of this time to clear Equipment Control. Call to the line will be 15 minutes prior to start time.
The top 8 shooters of each class should only be ordering their place in the final.
The closing date for Finals Entry is 15th May 2025.
Should you not enter the final by the closing date then the next highest score will be offered a place in the final.
The finals will be held at 21st Romsey Scout HQ on (whizzer) target changers. The final will consist of 10 minutes sighting and preparation time followed by 50minutes to shoot the 40 match shots. Own rifles are recommended but must be target rifles under 6ftlb and comply to the sporter rules.
